Welcome to the International School of Dakar.

My name is Eric Klauda and I am the Principal at ISD and I would like to welcome you to Dakar and to the International School of Dakar community.

The quote from the anthropologist, Margaret Mead is very fitting to any school situation such as ours. The most important job we have is educating our children and when we work in harmony, we work best. When we work our best, then our children are the benefactors. We share a very important member of the community, the children and as part of the community we take our responsibilities seriously. Parents, teachers, students, administrators, and school staff all working together for the purpose of building the future of our children. Good and effective communications are an essential part of working together. We would like you to know that we welcome your questions, concerns, suggestions, as much as we appreciate your kind words. We will always try to communicate with the knowledge that we are partners in this community and that we can support each other so that our children will be able to reach their potential.
